YouTube Expands Partner Program

TECH CRUNCH -- Apr 16 -- Youtube's Partner Program is expanding to include Japan, Australia, and Ireland. It was previously only available to users in Canada, the UK, and the United States. The program is designed to reward Youtube's most prolific and popular video providers with portions of the ad revenues gained from their videos. Since Dec, when it was first made available to all users, the program has paid out more than $1m to these partners.
