Some facts about Sarah Diamond Wolf :
Mrs. Sarah Diamond Wolf is the Deputy Chief of the Office of Strategic Communication at U.S. Southern Command in Miami, Florida, where she helps the military communicate its activities throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Wolf previously served at the Department of State in the Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation as the U.S. Government’s Focal Point for the Proliferation Security Initiative, a global effort that aims to stop trafficking of weapons of mass destruction, their delivery systems, and related materials to and from states and non-state actors of proliferation concern. Prior to that, she served in the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs (PM) covering regional security for and arms transfer to the Western Hemisphere. During her tenure with PM, Wolf earned a Master of Science Degree in Strategic Intelligence from the National Defense Intelligence College in Washington, DC and served as a surge junior political advisor with the crew of the HSV-2 Swift during the 2007 Global Fleet Station deployment to SOUTHCOM’s area of responsibility. She also served in the Bureau of Administration while completing a Master of Arts Degree in U.S. Foreign Policy from American University in Washington, DC. Prior to joining the Department of State, Wolf served on the Inter-American Committee Against Terrorism in the Organization of American States as well as represented the Delaware Chapter of the Partners of the Americas in Panama teaching English as a Second Language. Wolf earned a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Three Languages from the University of Delaware. She is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and resides in Miramar, Florida with her husband, Scott, and their son, Tyler. Current as of December 2010)
