You’re passionate about things digital? You want to make the world a better place? The Knight Foundation has a job for you.

We’re looking for a manager for our Online Community initiatives.

• You’ll help Knight extend the reach of the innovative programs it funds by helping grant recipients harness the power of digital communication.

• You’ll help Knight directors in 26 cities use digital technology to communicate with one another, with their communities, and with Knight’s Miami-based staff – all with the goal of building better local communities.

• You’ll help staffers at Knight’s Miami headquarters improve their effectiveness and efficiency by keeping them abreast of the latest digital tools.

• And you’ll help Knight maintain and burnish its reputation for harnessing the latest in today’s technology to build the communities of tomorrow.

If you’ve got the experience (ideally two to three years managing an institutional or community blog), the education (a bachelor’s degree), the skills (editing, managing freelancers, using social media), and you believe the Web can make the world a better place, we want to hear from you.
