MASHABLE -- Apr 15 -- Jaxtr is allowing members to send free SMS messages to anyone worldwide, regardless of whether or not they're a member of the Jaxtr service - covering mobile phones in 38 countries. Jaxtr operatates very similarly to Jangl's system. Essentially, they both provide widgets that allow folks to be messaged on virtual or pre-existing mobile phones from just about every social networking platform in existence.
