Friends Reunited has attributed a spike in traffic and a flurry of user activity to its newly redesigned site, which launched earlier this week. The revamp comes two months after Friends Reunited, which was bought by ITV in 2005, dropped its subscription charge to remain competitive against Facebook and MySpace.
Mark Brooks: FR is strong in the UK. I use it to reconnect with old school friends. There seems to be a lot of inactive with minimal accounts. Hopefully this move will spur some growth and significant activity.
